I may have mentioned this before, but I know Bob Ezrin and contacted him about the Destroyer reissue. He told me that the remix is already done - but anything else included in the package, will be up to KISS
He told me that he tried to stay pretty faithful to the original album with the inclusion of a few things he found on the master tapes that hadn't been heard before. But he didn't go into detail on what they were.
Ultimately it didn't sound to me like we are getting this expansive package with unreleased songs and the like. Just a few little surprises here and there along with the remix. Time will tell I guess.

excellent news. I look forward to it, He is awesome and I would love to see him work with KISS in the future.

I think it will fail in comparison to what we know and love, But I am up for an alternate take on it.

Remix is good, rerecording some parts would be very bad but par for Gene and Paul. I hope we don't get surprised.

Well I was glad that hear that Ezrin just did a remix based on the original album and included some extra stuff that he found. Gene and Paul were not in the studio with him. Ezrin did his remix job and that was it. The rest of the package will be up to KISS and I guess Universal.

He told me that he just added a few things here and there that he found on the master tapes and that haven't been heard before. But I don't think we are talking about an Ace Frehley Sweet Pain guitar solo for example. |
