Fingers crossed but hoping they don't overdo bringing in everyone and their mother from the BB series. That would fucking kill it. Agreed. I don't really have any interest in seeing Jesse in the series - there is no point to it. However, I would LOVE to see how Gus and Saul get involved with one another - this makes sense as Saul introduces Gus to Walter and Jesse - "a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy."

Gus would make perfect sense. And fuck, more Gus is a great thing. We could see how Gus and Mike then also hook up.

Yeah, definitely Gus was a great character who could have a great backstory. We got all the backstory we need from Jessie and it wouldn't be all that interesting to learn more. Just like Walter White's life pre-BB wouldn't be of any interest either. We saw him go from boring normal teacher to complete evil genius cunt, who wants to see more of him teaching or working at the car wash? LOL But it could be just that. People run into other people they don't know and then meet later...never remembering it. So long as the scenario was plausible (attorney getting his car washed), that's likely what you'd see happen. Or Pinkman in some bullshit small drug charge in court just before one of Saul's cases or something like that. Cases often pile up one atop the other. It can be done with a wink and not be gratuitous or eye-rolling...if it makes sense for them to collide or glide by one another.

Just hate the thought of characters being brought back for full episodes if only for nostalgia's sake. Hank and Gus I would gladly welcome back for this series, however.

They wouldn't be more than cameos I don't suspect.

HO. LEE. SHIT. That was quite possibly the greatest hour of TV I have ever spent watching. Jonathan Banks is amazing. I foresee the Emmy in his future. I am going to re-watch it again right now. Wow.

This show is shaping out quite well. I am really digging every aspect of it so far. It may have the moxy to match (and possibly surpass) the greatness of BB.

Originally I was kinda just hoping for a "case of the week"-type vehicle to show off Bob Odenkirk's comedic talent, since I figured anything else would doom it to 'Breaking Bad' comparisons....but Damn if they're not only pulling it off, but it's got a chance to surpass BB...

Monday night's episode was just fantastic. The pacing, the story and the twist...classic Gilligan. I don't know if this show will surpass BB...that is some HUGE shoes to fill...but it is certainly a show on the same level of enjoyment.

It's almost as if BB has continued quality wise...

Well, that was a disappointing finale.
