Undertstood. At this juncture, how many lightning bolts out of 10 would you give the 10,0000 Volts album ?For Ace - 3 out of 5 bolts. I am going to be less critical of him than say another band that I may have higher expectations for.

Aside from Ace '78, what is your favorite Ace-related solo release (including the Comet albums)?

I liked Space Invader, for the most part.
10,000 Volts is not a huge leap forward from Spaceman, IMO.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Did you like Firepower? Yes, very much so. I would rank it 1/2 star above Invincible Shield, at this juncture.

I would like to know when/where and all the circumstances pertaining to your first KISS concert. Also would like to know if you recovered that email you sent to Doc yet.

I would like to know when/where and all the circumstances pertaining to your first KISS concert. Also would like to know if you recovered that email you sent to Doc yet. My first KISS concert was Creatures at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. I was 11 and went with my Dad. He was very supportive of my love for KISS - always bought stuff for me, etc. Even though he called it "wrist slashing music". I don't really remember much in terms of the concert itself. I think I had such a high seeing KISS for the first time that it became a blur. I did think I was watching Ace or what seemed liked Ace. It wasn't until the next day in the newspaper review that Vinnie Vincent was mentioned. I never heard this name prior. Funny enough the thing I remember the most is not the show - but my Dad. He occasionally smoked cigarettes at the time - mostly socially with other parents at the hockey arena, etc. His thing was cigars though and I love the smell of cigars because of him. Anyway, the concert was so loud to him that he broke off two ends of the cigarettes and put them in his ear. Never mind the hearing damage his son might be getting. It was funny. This seemed to apply here: Doc back and forth is coming.

None of your KISS fan friends went or wanted to go with you? At the time, my friends weren't fans of KISS or even really knew about them - but a couple of years later two friends became fans.
