Why so much for Shotgun Messiah especially? I mean does anyone really care about them - outside of a small bubble of hair metal fans? Because both albums were only made in Greece for that market as vinyl was already dead so they were never produced for the US...so they're scarce and vinyl, is popular, and the people interested in those albums are of the age where they have disposable income so they tend to go for big prices in good condition. The magic mixture for expensive records. Aka my copies of Coverdale/Page and Black Sabbath TYR.

Present holy grails: Roger Waters "Amused To Death" EU Original Pressing. (I presently have a 2013? 200gr repress of it.) Motley Crue "Self titled" 2LP edition. I nearly bought it when we sold our spare house last year, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. re: Crue. I bought the KO of it...it's a rather impressive pressing, I must say. that's good to know. I haven't gotten one. I have a handful of boots....Danzig III, Samhain, and Warrant. They're all fine, but I got them all for less than $30. When I see the boots of the super expensive albums going for near a C note, I just wanna pee on the sellers.

Well typically it was the chess club presidents and the like that went on to rule the world in various industries, while the jocks ended up in lower jobs working for the nerds. I guess that is the trade off. Be a God in high school playing sports, but end up just punching a clock career wise. Now I'm confused who's pic I saw that I thought was Battra. IIRC was some dude sipping a tutti frutti drink. There's a photo of me I'm using on some of my socials where I'm drinking a bloody mary and making a face at my birthday brunch at The Bellaggio.

I think I got mine for 40 or 50 shipped, but that was probably a couple years ago now while vinyl prices have only gone up across the board since...

What would be your holy grail vinyls? Including stuff that has never been on vinyl before. Like you would shit yourself if you actually saw any of this stuff in a store just sitting there waiting. The Marvelous 3 albums were it, but they mostly happened. The first one hasn't, but that's by far my least fave of the bunch. Next up would be Butch LOSC. My current actually exists most wanted is a 100% mint first KISS album without KT, but I don't think aid be willing to pay the price...especially when I have a 95% mint copy already. Otherwise Shotgun Messiah -Second Coming and an official pressing of UKJ - Menace to Sobriety. Both go in the $300 range and I'm not really willing to spend that on them. Dammit! I missed a mint test pressing of UKJ Menace to Sobriety today on Discogs for under 100 bucks! Their notifications don't send notifications quick enough and someone snapped it up immediately, I'm sure.
