This isn't really a serious question, because science has already proven that it exists, but there will always be people out there in the faith over facts crowd that choose to live life with their head up their ass.

global warming or not, no one should be condoning pollution.... Are denying global warming as propagated by Al Gore and not caring about general pollution connected?

judging by the lack of urgency to do anything about either, i'd say alot of the same people feel that it's someone elses' problem......

I really feel sorry for you if you truly believe it. I guess you believe Al Gore created the internet too..... Seriously. Climate change has happened many, many times in the past. Way back when we were drawing pictures on cave walls before we raped our cave women before dinner.... The temperature has went up and down over periods of thousands of years....and guess what....it will continue to do so no matter what we do. Now can we do more in fighting pollution??? Hell yea.

No I don't believe that Al Gore invented the internet. I believe in science and knowledge. The fact of the matter is that if the right was able to make billions of dollars on global warming, they would believe in it too.

The left is just more likely to believe in science and not in delusional things like the right is most likely to believe in.

I believe in climate change.
I don't believe in man made climate change.
I don't believe that a climate tax (huge issue in Australia right now) will do anything other than take money from hard working people and give it to politicians to squander.

If you think Bill Maher is the only one pointing out what a joke Republicans and the Tea Party is - then you have your head up your ass more than I originally thought. Hell, even Republicans are not happy with the clowns running for nomination that will absolutely lose to Obama. Which is why they are dying for Chris Christie to run.

And if you think Obama and his bunch aren't worried about the upcoming election, you have got your head way up your "save the whales", "hug a tree", "peace and love", socialistic ass yourself. No president has ever won re-election with unemployment and job approval numbers so bad. It might not matter who the right runs....only time will tell. The sad truth about Obama is that he is in way over his head. He wasn't ready to be president. I guess it is in fact a big jump from "community organizer."

Yes, I believe we're not doing good things to our environment and that we're impacting our ecosystem. To what degree...how self-reparable it is despite our presence I can't say. We have seen plantetary weather cycles before, it's true...and I'm sure that long before there were humans there were big cycles, but I honestly believe we're not helping this planet ANY. Those who think we've had no negative impact with our pollutants are fooling themselves.

Additionally, anyone who believes business needs to be left alone to self-regulate (both environmental issues and safety issues) is ridiculous. Business is interested in the bottom line and safety regs and environment preserving techniques and methods are contrary to the bottom line. Left to their own devices, businesses will almost always ignore the right thing for the more profitable thing.

But to the extent of Al Gore and his cashing in on it, I disagree.

We are running them out of the country and it is hurting us in many ways. We need to find a happy medium.

You might have a shot with Chris Christie, but you can forget the losers currently running for the nomination. My pug could win against them.

And yet he will still win, so maybe he is viewed as the lesser of two evils. Can you really imagine President Bachmann?
