The trailers look great and all, but The Force Awakens could easily be another piece of shit in this franchise. Especially if you already hate Abrams.

There is no narrative reason for this film to exist. The story ended in 1983. Picking it up 30+ years later is little more than a nostalgia trip for fans or an excuse for Disney to make shitloads of money regardless of how good the final product is.
I'll see TFA and I might even like it, but I expect nothing. Like the KISS reunion, the special editions and prequels have killed my love for something I once held very dear. I watched the trailer three times and I'm just not feelin' it.

I would be excited for Hello Kitty: The Elder or Dora The Explorer: The Elder. I'd also be excited for Seb Hunter's Elder movie if it ever happened.

Yes, yes it would. The Doctor as Morpheus training the boy to defeat Blackwell's army, and we find out later Blackwell is a puppet of The Master.
