Do you think Eric Carr deserves to be in the Rock and roll hall of fame?

Yep. If KISS deserve to be there at all, it should be one in, all in.
That's why I got so fed up with the RNRHOF arguments when they were inducted. The originals only zealots went off their meds when all that happened.

I could go either way on Bruce, but Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer sure as shit don't deserve to be inducted. They are literally playing the roles of Ace and Peter and are offering nothing original to the band. Hell, Vinnie Vincent deserves to be inducted more than they do, which is unfortunate because I actually like Eric Singer and think he's the best drummer KISS has ever had, but his best work with the band was on Revenge. Eric Singer died when he put the makeup on and held himself back to be more like Peter Criss. His drumming is awful on SB and Monster, which is frustrating because you know that he is capable of kicking ass on the drums.

Especially when you consider his work with Sabbath, Badlands and KISS in the early 90s. It's like asking Geddy Lee to fill in for Sid Vicious.

He doesn't play or sound anything like Peter. And thank the Lord for that, but he still performs well below the ability we know he has so the songs will sound more like they did when Cuntface played them. Compare his performances from 92-95 to anything KISS have done since 2004 and you'd never guess it was the same drummer.

He sings songs that Peter would have sung if he was still in the band and while his drumming is certainly better, he is playing in a more Peter Criss rock and roll style. He certainly ain't doing this in KISS. That Eric Singer is dead.

If KISS ended tomorrow and Eric Singer joined a heavier band, I am quite sure he would be capable to play more like a "metal" drummer or like he did when if first joined KISS. If Tommy Aldridge can still kick ass on the drums at 125 years old in Whitesnake, I am quite sure Eric Singer can do the same in KISS or any other band. He's simply playing his Peter Criss role in KISS, just as Thayer is doing the same with Ace.
