Steve - since I posted Tea Party news, how would you rank The Tea Party albums?

Boring answer, but I'd put them in order of release and have Triptych swap places with Transmission. Those two are almost sister records in any case, which makes them very difficult to separate.
I haven't spent a lot of time with The Ocean At The End. It was one of the last CDs I bought before I sold my soul to iTunes and got rid of my whole collection after ripping them. I'll dig it out and give it a few more spins.

I enjoyed it very much, but only played it a couple of times before my whole approach to music changed. As you say, it got lost in the transition. I will revisit it over the weekend and see how much I remember.
As with all TP albums since Triptych, any new product will be a buy on release day deal. No questions asked.

So you don't miss the physical media at all? You kept nothing even for nostalgia sake?

Not a bit. I got rid of 400+ discs for $2500 and I don't regret a thing. I sold them to a dealer who is also an old friend, so I know they're in good hands and I still have all my memories.

Even The Elder??? While I could certainly reduce my collection, I could never get rid of it all and just rely on the internet for movies and music.

Yep. Because now I have the 2014 HDTracks version plus a vinyl rip of the original release. The music hasn't gone anywhere, nor have my memories of it. I've just rid myself of a houseful of crap I bought to fool myself into settling for a life that didn't make me happy. Everything I once had on CD, and a whole lot more besides, is now on a network drive and I can stream it all over the house.
