Like, zomg, best story idea EVAR!
From out of nowhere I've found a way to deal with all the emotions and experiences I've been through this year and weave them into a solid, commercial piece of spec fic. At first I was wary of digging into my own heart and mind too deeply for fear of what I might find, then I reasoned that thoughts, feelings and responses are no good at all unless you put them to use. Yes they're mine and quite personal, but the events that led to them are universal and everyone deals with them in different ways.
Like most ideas, this one came from several different sources, all of which converged to give me the biggest AH-HAH! moment I've had in quite a while. This, my dear Freewheelers, is going to be fucking awesome.

How is your book coming along by the way? Not bad, though I don't have as much time to work on it during the day as I used to. Too often I find myself typing away at three in the morning when there's no-one left to talk to. I need to stop doing that. It creates too much editing the next day. At the end of October I'm doing a reading at a cemetery. Considering the location and the theme ('Grave Matters') I'll give 'em a couple of scenes from a ghost story I wrote twelve years ago and need to redraft before I share it with anyone. I'd do the whole thing, but I only have 10-15 minutes. If anyone films it, I'll post the Youtube link.
