One could argue that, game changers and cultural paradigm shifters as they were, The Beatles deserved the level of adulation they received. KISS? Not even close.

That was fantastic. How did you come across that? It is not like it has millions of views.
He is absolutely right and of course I know you this was a message to KISS fans - despite being about The Beatles, but it really applies to anything.

The only thing KISS can really get credit for is the makeup, show and marketing/merch - the phenomenon with that in the 70's. The actual songs? Nobody gives a fuck about their songs. KISS is not the soundtrack to people's lives and the general public couldn't name 5 KISS songs with a gun to the head despite their 50 years of existence 20 albums.

His books are mostly trash, very tabloid style, lots of errors. He’s also been an extra in a few things including Squid Game and has a massive ego, he was in the press for abusing someone in a supermarket a few years ago. BUT … this thing he posted on band worship is 100% correct, I thought it would be appreciated here. Someone post it on KISSFAQ and say “substitute Beatles with KISS” and see what they say.

That is unfortunate to hear. I wasn't familiar with him, so I thought he was was some highly respected guy who hung with The Beatles, etc and thus his position here holds more weight because of that. He is still 100% right, but there may be some bitterness here too.
