So has anyone checked out this show? It's hosted by Morgan Spurlock and is a five part countdown of the top documentaries of the last twenty years (I guess there weren't any good ones prior to 1990). I caught half of the first episode. It's a fairly typical "list" show, where they pick a title and have various people talk about it, but it is still pretty interesting. The first episode was 50-41 and it had some great movies listed (When the Levies Broke, King of Kong, etc.). You can actually see the whole episodes on the site. current.com/shows/fifty-documentaries/

if 'truth or dare' made the list, then the actual field had to have been only 50 movies....

FWIW, Current has been showing a lot of the actual films lately too. Looking over the list of 50, I'd say they've probably ran at least half of them over the past month or so.
Sorta surprised that "Biggie & Tupac" made the list, but not the same director's superior "Kurt & Courtney." B&T might be great for those who don't really know anything about the cases going in beforehand, though, but it doesn't really present much new for anyone who's read about them.
Also of note - If you get "Free Speech TV" (or FSTV, as it's abbreviated), they've been showing some interesting documentaries lately. The other day I caught one (with lots of KISS stuff) about the guy who created those unauthorized "Rock & Roll Comics" from the 80s/early 90s. Had to leave before it was over though and haven't caught another airing.
Also, hi I guess, since this is my first post.
