The Freewheeler will still maintain the won't be banned - unless you are a complete douchebag format.
All forums though (even ones where anything goes), people will still find a way to get banned from time to time and for valid reasons as opposed to highly questionable ones, such as a difference of opinion.
The whole "I thought you don't ban people" excuse doesn't fly here if you actually find a reason to be banned or you prove to be a douchebag. As long as it's understood that certain bannings are necessary per the rules below, we are good to go.
The Terms of Service are as follows:
1. You have to actually contribute on some level to the forum. What that is will be up to you, but if you are simply signing up to attack the admin, the forum or any other members or moderators, with no intention of contributing to the forum discussions - you will be banned.
* I have no problem with you attacking the admin, a member here or the forum if you are a contributing member of The Freewheeler.
However just signing up to attack someone is a douchebag move - especially anonymously: not telling us your user name that we know you as from another forum, so we know who we are dealing with to properly respond to any attacks.
If you do have the overwhelming need to attack/call out someone you hate - at least have the balls to do so with your known user name. You will be gone otherwise.
As many have stated, I kept on coming back to the FAQ to talk about music and other topics - not to simply attack people I didn't like.
2. It's not about your post count number. Please refrain from +1 or smiley face type postings. Leave actual comments and make a real contribution to the discussion no matter what you have to say.
3. Do not just go around the forum making troll posts or shit posting for your own amusement.
4. No threatening or racist/bigoted/homophobic comments/insults. Family is also obviously off-limits.
5. No posting of personal information or doxxing. Obviously if you post your social media content or a comment made on Facebook/X/etc. - it will be fair game that people can see your social media public profile.
Everything else goes. We are all adults here and we can all take it. It is a "you" problem, if you get easily offended or opinions you don't like ruin your day.
