Recorded it, was white trash watching the Bears game. Looks interesting, more interesting that Batman is not actually in it IMO. Scorpion looks fairly interesting as well. Recorded that too

I look at football as a Republican sport, all big in the south with people wanting to kill each other over fucking outcomes of school games and shit. Football is a complete non-entity here in Liberal Los Angeles. Yes, you have a ton of gangbangers walking around with ugly Raiders shit on, I don't think any of them actually give a shit about the team. Football, NASCAR, wrestling, hillbilly mentality shit.  On the other hand only a total prat cunt would be interested in lillywhite snobby shit sports like tennis and golf. And lacrosse. Seems to be a pretty big entity in liberal San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York ... LA just had shitty teams, USC and UCLA draw really well |

I saw it on a torrent site while looking for something else. Will grab and watch when I have a moment. If it's anything like Gotham Central (comic series about the Gotham PD without Batman), it should be decent.
I'm looking forward to Constantine although part of me suspects it will be terrible. Let's hope it's more faithful to the source material than that dreadful movie with Keanu.

I just watched it off the DVR. Being a huge comic guy (probably more so than anyone on this site), there were some things I liked and I didn't like. The acting and story was very stiff at times and seemed to move at a break-neck pace. But with this being the pilot, I can understand why they crammed so much into the first episode.
I like the actors and love the premise of the show. I am very anxious to see the next few episodes as I feel they will be much better. They have the story laid out now, so let's get on with some episodic adventures. The character I am most interested in is the Penguin. I like how they have re-imagined this character and feel that he will be a big part of the series. This has the potential to be a very good show...let's hope I am right.

The show is its own continuity. They can make anything up and as long as the show doesn't contradict itself, there are no continuity issues... |

I've always disliked when they fuck with tried and true origins myself, however you are correct continuity is the wrong word, replace continuity issues with "ass raping" and it works still  |

In the big picture, we have had two Batman reboot movies, a cartoon series, and all kinds of other stuff. There is no true continuity really. I don't mind the changes if the show is good and can stand on it's own. But if it is complete crap, then that just goes to further piss me off. |

It's taking all the origins of the Gotham villains and setting them up, not sure how far that will go without Batman. |
