With Star Wars 7 being directed by Abrams and Star Wars 8 being directed by Rian Johnson - do you prefer that or would you prefer a constant Abrams vision across 3 films?

I do, but I'm concerned about Rian Johnson directing 8. I thought Looper was awful. Then again he did direct Ozymandias (Breaking Bad ep), so maybe he will surprise me with Star Wars.

Did you hate all of Looper of just the ending with the kid. I thought the Bruce Willis/Joseph Gordon Levitt time travel stuff was cool.

I don't mind different directors at all...and I don't blame Loopers on the director. It is a story that could have been so much better but just didn't pay off in the end. I liked about 80% of Loopers.

I am just suggesting that if Star Wars 7 is the cum fest of excellence that we hope it is, do you want to potentially fuck up Star Wars with another director's vision on 8 or just let Abrams do them all.

Well I thought Star Wars: A New Hope was amazing, but liked Empire Strikes Back even better. Different director and a bit different direction...so different directors can be okay. Yes, you are certainly taking a chance that someone is going to screw it up, but let's hope that is not the case.

Nothing wrong with changing up. A lot of folks dug the first Trek and hated the second. Could happen here too. I like the idea of fresh vision.
