TORONTO - Ozzy Osbourne and his family are returning to primetime TV, thanks to Canadian animation house Cuppa Coffee Studios and its upcoming animated series The F'n Osbournes.
Cuppa Coffee will be looking for pre-sales for the animated series at MipTV in April.
"Teaming up with Cuppa Coffee has spawned a great opportunity to produce a unique animated prime-time show," said Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy Osbourne, who will executive produce the primetime cartoon along with Jack Osbourne.
Both Osbournes are involved in developing the show’s scripts.
Adam Shaheen of Cuppa Coffee created the cartoon series and will also executive produce.
The proposed 20 episode series is separate from MTV’s fly-on-the-wall reality show The Osbournes, which aired from 2002 to 2005.

I know it's fucked up in theory but it would have been much better for Ozzy's legacy had he OD'd and died sometime in the early/mid 80s. Or at least Sharon...

Kinda sounds like maybe it's not much more than a demo reel at this point, though, since they're shopping for investors. Maybe we'll get lucky and no network will be stupid enough to pick this up.
