When you hear than line from "Psycho Circus" today, a quarter-century following its release, what comes to mind?

When you hear than line from "Psycho Circus" today, a quarter-century following its release, what comes to mind? What comes to mind is that I'm listening to one of my all time fave KISS tunes.

Some of those songs would have been on a KISS album with Bruce and Eric Singer if they kept that lineup going.

Oh sure and I hate that song, but I love Within and that would have probably made the follow up to Carnival. I Pledge Allegiance probably would have made it too as a back to KISS style song after going grunge.

They would have been dumped off the record label after COS got released in 1995/96 as originally intended. No arena tour either. So many legacy acts were dead in the water in the mid 90s. Sabbath, Priest, Maiden. All playing tiny tiny venues.

Still remember when it leaked and someone at New Jersey station THE RATT played it a few times, it got recorded and uploaded in lo fi QuickTime Audio format. Had some station IDs throughout the song. Still doesn’t sound right hearing it without “THE RATT” as it’s going into the breakdown part.
Those were the days. Best time to be a fan, during the reunion tour leading up to Psycho Circus, when the wheels totally fell off again.
