Following its world premiere at CCXP, Warner Bros. Pictures has officially premiered the teaser trailer and motion poster for George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” the upcoming prequel to 2015’s “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
The new take sees Anya Taylor-Joy playing a younger version of Charlize Theron’s Furiosa character who was snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.
Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke co-star in the film, whilst ‘Fury Road’ actors Nathan Jones and Angus Sampson will reprise their roles of Rictus Erectus and The Organic Mechanic respectively. Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber and Lachy Hulme also star.
Several crew members from ‘Fury Road’ also return for the film, including screenwriter Lathouris, film editor Margaret Sixel, costume designer Jenny Beavan, and composer Tom Holkenborg.
Filming on the project took place in late 2022 in New South Wales, Australia and was said to be the biggest film production in the country’s history with a reported total of $233 million U.S. dollars spent in Australia on the production.
“Furiosa” is set to hit cinemas on May 24th 2024.

No interest at all in these films, but my uncontainable and incalculable lust for Anya Taylor-Joy may get the better of me.
She was magnificent in The VVitch and magnetic in The New Mutants. I waited a long time for that film to come out and thought it deserved much better, not least a few sequels.

Have you seen The Menu - I really enjoyed that.

Could she be the one to get you to say "I do"? Have you seen The Menu - I really enjoyed that. Please. I'm old enough to be her father if I were irresponsible. I went to see The Menu after my very first tutoring session. It was fun and helped keep my imposter syndrome at bay.

I couldn't get past 20 minutes in the last Mad Max, so this is a definite no.

Isn't it a law that Australians must love Mad Max and Unmasked? I thought Mel Gibson was a dick head decades before his carrying on like a sexist, anti-semitic drunk proved me right.
