Admittedly I ignored a lot of prog rock bands for some reason in my younger years. Maybe I was too young to "get it" or it just didn't have the song structure of the more commercial rock I liked at the time, but now I love Yes and some other bands as well.
I have been doing a deep dive of Spock's Beard and related bands and it's just great music, but totally understand if prog rock - even somewhat commercial prog rock isn't people's jam. I still can't get into Emerson Lake And Palmer, despite my more new found interest in prog rock.
Just wondering if I am alone here on Spock's Beard.

I’ve not listened to them, but I’m open. Have you tried Shadow Gallery, HM? I found them on YouTube and listened while I was away on holiday and didn’t bring my music drive. See also Vanden Plas.
