Name movies you walked out on in the theatre or stopped the DVD, because you just couldn't stand another minute.

Jabberwocky, Batman & Robin (steaming pile of shit), and King Kong Lives. That's all.

My wife and I literally couldn't get through five minutes of The Other Guys. Fuck, I hate Mark Wahlberg. Only good thing he ever did was Boogie Nights.

I might take some shit for these because they're widely regarded as classics:
Raging Bull. It's obviously well acted but it was just too slow and uneventful for me.
The Godfather, I actually finished over 2 viewings and it felt like forever. After it was over it felt like a better movie than it did half way through and I imagine it gets better with more viewings. Seems like a movie where you can enjoy it more knowing where the characters are going to end up and being able to watch their development without worrying about paying close attention to the plot, as per first viewing. Still, it'll be some time before I can face watching it again and it's put me off watching 2 and 3 of the trilogy.
Heat. I was 21 or 22 when i watched it and fell asleep so I probably need to see it again in the right mindset and being older.

Another one I couldn't force myself to sit through: Inland Empire Fucking hell, I'd rather watch grass grow. I struggled with that too and it didn't help that Lynch had decreed that the DVD would have no chapter selection (artistic reasons apparently) so I had to fast forward through to the 2nd half of the movie after I fell asleep first time. He's been quiet since.

I disagree, he's been in some cool movies - Fear and The Fighter spring to mind. Thought Studio 54 (or was it just called 54, I can't remember) was a horrid film but made it all the way through. I sat through a 'recommended' movie by a friend, some shitty 80s movie called Exotica. Watching paint dry would have been more entertaining.
