I LOVE Dragon's Den and will watch Shark Tank, but it's not nearly as good since they have to make it watchable to Americans.
Anyone else watch these shows?

never seen 'dragon's den', but i watch 'shark tank' regularly....hopefully it got renewed for another season, 'cuz there haven't been any episodes lined up in my DVR queue for awhile. kevin o'leary, aka "mr. wonderful", cracks me up & pisses me off at the same time......"you're dead to me" ;D
the ideas some of these prospects come in with blow my mind. this one guy came in with an idea for a broom with a scraper attached to it, and the sharks were jumping all over one another to get a piece of him, basically handing him a blank check.....all the while i was thinking "how the fuck is it that no one thought of this idea 'til now?!" LOL.....damn, so simple yet innovative....

But I do still enjoy Shark Tank, but I wonder why that shopping channel guy is even there - he never makes a deal.

yeah, no doubt.....i rarely see him pull the trigger. maybe that's why when they have "guest" sharks, harrington is the one who always gets sidelined. i kinda like it when they get mark cuban on there, 'cuz he's got plenty of cabbage that he can outshark the sharks whenever he wants to, much to their dismay....he's practically on another stratosphere compared to most of 'em. jeff foxworthy, not so wowed when they have him on the show, 'cuz it always leads to the inevitable redneck jokes.....

That was funny, when Cuban was on - you could see how pissed they all were. Do you like Barbara or Robert?

yeah, i'm OK with both of them. whether they can strike a deal or not, they both seem to root for the "little guy" nonetheless.....they both seem to have held onto some perspective from their leaner days, which i appreciate. plus, they'll take o'leary to task if he goes overboard, which makes for some nice television fodder ;D
