Can I just say that what struck me the most about this interview, is how nonchalantly he threw out all of these horrible things that happened to him.
No emotion whatsoever, it seemed. No horror, no anger, no self-indignation, nothing. He even used the word "tattled" when relating the story. If someone had done those things to me, I sure as hell wouldn't be throwing around a 7-year-old-level word like "tattled."
I'm not saying that he's lying, but it did strike me as strange that there was such little in the way of negative emotional reaction.
When the commentators said that the internet is now allowing stories like these to reach the public in a way that couldn't happen before, it's also allowing people that are desperate for attention to make up stories similar to this in order to GET this newly available attention.
Again, I'm not saying he made it up, but just saying that all of these things DO give valid reason to wonder about the other side of this type of situation.
