The Time Is Right For Love Blindman Victim of Love Can You Hear The Wind Blow Forevermore Best Years Sailing Ships Love Ain’t No Stranger Love Will Set You Free Now You’re Gone Very interesting list. Especially with you picking a few more recent songs over the earlier material. Typically latter day albums are not viewed as having the same quality of songs compared to whatever are deemed the "classic albums". Thanks for this.

Nothing from that last POS they did with the Cher guitarist but the Doug albums were quality. Even the three rushed throwaway tracks they did to pad out the 2006 live album were pretty good.
I thought I would have more classic era stuff but I looked at all the song titles and most of it doesn’t do much for me like it did 15 years ago.

I thought you did for some reason. I only ask because typically the UK fans view the Moody/Marsden era as the best and anything after for American audiences primarily was WS selling out.

No.
And I don’t agree with the Geffen period being a sellout. He did what he did to remain relevant and extend his audience. Some people call the Heart85 and Bad Animals period a sellout too, no they did what they had to to maintain a career and sold more albums than ever before! That stuff should be celebrated not denigrated.

So much so there was an 11 page debate about this: thefreewheeler.proboards.com/thread/23197/glam-metal-whitesnake-household-nameCoverdale's career would have been done decades ago if he didn't adapt for American audiences.

Top 10 For Today. Could change completely tomorrow. In no particular order and of course not including Still Of The Night, which I would have added:
1. Child Of Babylon 2. Carry Your Load 3. Ain't Gonna Cry No More 4. Victim Of Love 5. Saints And Sinners 6. Love Ain't No Stranger 7. Don't Turn Away 8. Slow Poke Music - a guilty pleasure - it is not a great song, but I just connected with the groove. 9. Sailing Ships 10. Lay Down Your Love

I dig it, but not a favorite - even if this was top 20 songs. What is your top 10?
