My computer looks like it wants to throw up its internal parts. I saw a bit of his performance. I like some Robbie songs. He's a good performer. First

Listening to BLS' The Blessed Hellride, one of the finest albums of the past 10 years
And spitting up blood (ulcers as well as polyps) while singing along. Permanent damage be fucking damned!
Now onto Queen's Somebody to love And now live Bohemian Rhapsody.
And now Innuendo. I'm in a queenish mood tonight.

I might even delve into the world of The Beatles sometime this week. Does "delve into" imply that you're not too familiar with the entirety of the Beatle catalogue, or do you just mean you were gonna spin some tunes? If it's the former, a "Beatles discovery" thread could be fun - and I'd also recommend getting 'hold of the 2009 Mono remasters for a first-timer instead of the stereo mixes.

Am very familiar with all the popular songs of the band, but have never really listened to any of their albums in full. You could call me a casual Beatles fan. Don't worry, this isn't some sort of revelation, I've mentioned this in the past. Will definitely be delving deeper into their back catalogue.

Ah-ha, well, I'd definitely say to just start with the first of the UK albums and work forwards (with the odd exception of Magical Mystery Tour, where the US version wound up replacing the UK version in the "official" discography). And of course, definitely don't neglect the two Past Masters discs (or Mono Masters, depending on which set you listen to), since those are full of essential A and B-sides which never appeared on a UK album proper.

Delving into the beatles catalog sounds like a form of torture to me Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all they did for pop music (early beatles was most definitely pop music) and even like some of the tunes they wrote performed by others. Just wasn't a fan of their execution, or the sound of their voices (I get I'm in an overwhelming minority on that front guys). Now give Zep's back catalog, and I can be lost for hours. But, if you throw on the stones, we may just see how well a LP can actually fly through the air and hit someone. To keep the thread relevant I just listened to The Avett Brother's Head Full of Doubt and then Mortician's Chainsaw Dismemberment. I'll tell ya, those two are so far apart soundwise even I think I should have at least put a pantera or prong song in the middle just balance out the going from beautiful to straight up brutal

One at a time, lug, one at a time! I've been listening to it in the office, but I obviously need to listen in a quieter atmosphere to really pick up on everything. I thought it was time to start listening to them. At least once. See what all the fuss is about.

Justin right, because Zep appeals to me. Taste is subjective, something you've yet to learn in life.

First time i've known someone to not like The Rolling Stones, The Beattles but love Led Zeppellin. It's not subjective it's highly unlikely nigh on impossible to like Led Zepp but not the other's.
