Nice...I lived in Fort Lauderdale for 1 year as a kid. Went to kindergarten down there...then we moved back to the Twin Cities the following year. How come such a short period? Dad changed jobs or something? I'm guessing because all our family was here...

Please share more about Florida like how long, when and why you were there. I didn't live there permanently, but would spend some time there each year. It was Fort Lauderdale. Had the condo a bit over for about 25 years. My parents took my brother and I to Florida as kids, so I was just used to it. Is your brother older or younger and what's his stance on KISS.

Not a fan, but tolerated them as an older brother. Bought me KISS stuff from time to time many years ago. I believe I told the story on the FAQ where he laughed his ass off when he passed by my room and heard the lyric "eat it like a piece of cake" from Heaven's On Fire. Might be the dumbest lyric he ever heard at the time.

I thought the Reunion era was basically garbage I didn't think or realize it at the time but do now, what's your analysis.

To be honest, never loved the song. So I saw my brother's point. I thought the Reunion era was basically garbage I didn't think or realize it at the time but do now, what's your analysis. It was what I wanted it to be. Ace and Peter back in the band for a reunion. Like any band reunion one might hope for. I didn't analyze musicianship like some did back then. The shows I saw were great and at the time anyway, I knew the Kulick/Singer era was over so any view in that regard was irrelevant. If I was still going to follow KISS, they were now the original band again. I wanted a new album and all that came with that.

As a fan going back to late 1977, I felt (and still feel) that it was far from "garbage".
Getting to experience the original four rekindle the magic and perform 20 songs from their 74-79 catalog on 10-09-1996 was an absolute thrill for me.

It seems to be a view with a lot of KISS fans who mostly got into the band when the original band was on it's last legs at the end of the 70's and early 80's. They were more of a fan of replacement members KISS, so the reunion wasn't what they really wanted.

If the whole thing wasn't garbage, I doubt we'd get the problems we saw. The Reunion did not deliver for me.

I love all shellfish, aside from mussels, and all ocean fish that I've ever tasted. There are few things that taste better to me than an excellent crab cake or lobster dipped in melted butter.

I go back and forth between the two.
For the past few weeks it's been strictly tea.

So if it was Ace and Eric Carr had he lived (they couldn't get Peter) in the Fox makeup again, you could live with that? It would be hugely disrespectful to Bruce, who is a better guitarist and a better human than Ace, but I'd find that easier to accept. If Bruce had left for some reason and Ace agreed to come back, sober up, practise and apply himself, better still.

In that case, I will not ask whether or not you've ever been in a Turkish prison.
However, if you'd care to reply, what was the worst crime you've ever committed? (no judgment here)

(no judgment here) Shoplifting MANY years ago. I knew it was wrong, but I was kind of adept at it. Almost like an Oceans 11 kind of thing. I knew the fake shoppers who were doing security. I knew which stores had fake security alarms, etc. Small time stuff like CD's, etc. I do regret it now and think all the insane shoplifting going on now needs MUCH stiffer penalties.

I got caught the one and only time I attempted shoplifting. I was a freshman in high school in late 1981 or early 1982. Tried to steal a Zippo lighter from a grocery store.
My worst crime was attending a party in 1985 that a kid threw at his girlfriend's parents' house while they were out of town. I'm not sure if he broke into the house or his stupid girlfriend gave him a key.
I had to go to court but lucked out with a small restitution fine. I'm sure the attorney that my parents hired was not cheap though.

I stole couple cassettes from a secondhand store as a young teen. Got away with it, but felt super guilty about it after the fact. Last time I shoplifted...
